Delivery Information


We will download your order during normal office hours (which may be the next working day for orders placed after lunchtime), and we will will aim to post it out as soon as possible depending on the required items and availability.

For hampers, you are able to select an 'preferred' date for delivery. If you select this, we'll aim to have your parcel dispatched 2 days before this date where possible to ensure it gets there in time. Parcelforce will leave a card if the recipient is out.

If you have ordered an iced celebration cake, please allow us plenty of time to make and decorate your cake. We also require 1 full day for the icing to set.

Please note that although we will always endeavour to arrange to have your order delivered in time for your 'preferred date for delivery', we cant guarantee delivery for a specific date or time.

UK Delivery

For UK delivery of a parcel with content up to 25kg we charge 7.00 plus any applicable vat and using our traceable courier service - Parcelforce.

Small Parcels under 700g are posted via Royal Mail First Class. Charges are as follows:

  • 0-450g 3.50
  • 451-500g 3.95
  • 501-700g 5.75

All orders to Northern Ireland and the Highlands and Islands of Scotland are charged at 16 per parcel.

Some items may include postage, this will be stated with the price.


Parcelforce deliveries are made within 24 or 48 hours of dispatch from our bakery.

1st Class to UK destinations are usually delivered the next working day after collection.

All delivery days are counted from day of collection - not from the date of your order.

International orders are generally received in under 28 days.

Please note that parcels require a signature on receipt. If there is no-one at home, a card is left by the delivery company, and a second attempt will be made the next working day or left at the local Post Office for collection. Contact details are on the card should you wish to collect from the depot or Post Office.

If a parcel is returned to us because there have been a number of failed attempted deliveries, we will offer to resend the parcel but there will be an additional charge for the postage and new packaging should it be required.

Please note that it is not the fault or responsibility of E. Botham & Sons if the recipient is not in to receive the parcel.

In some countries import tax and duties may have to be paid by the recipient on delivery.
