Botham's Traditional 'Simnel Cake', delicious for Spring and Easter time!

Botham's Simnel Cakes have been made since Victorian times to the same recipe. Our rich fruit cake mixture with distinctive spices is enriched with a layer of marzipan before baking and it is topped with a nest of toasted almond paste. This cake has a flooded icing centre. The iced palette chicks and bunnies are crafted by hand, and the Easter bunny has left some chocolate eggs on top of your cake too!

Note the Best Before date for Simnel cakes is approximately 2 weeks, so bear this in mind for your delivery date if ordering to eat at Easter time.
